Custom Monochrome Aluminum PCB (XXA-2509-7W) for a Client Project
We had the pleasure of working closely with Alex on a custom project in 2025, resulting in a highly satisfactory outcome. The task involved creating a specific monochrome aluminum round plate, designated as the XXA-2509-7W model.
Our goal was precise: to produce a 1:1 replica based on a physical sample Alex provided.
The Initial Steps: Sample Confirmation and Planning
Once we received Alex’s sample, the next step was to confirm the design and proceed with production. Alex requested a full production run of 100 pieces. To streamline the process and ensure Alex’s complete satisfaction, I suggested a proactive approach: producing the initial free sample 2pcs in advance, but place the total 100pcs order together.
This strategy offered key advantages:
Manufacturing the bulk order immediately after confirming the first sample ensured superior consistency in quality throughout the entire batch, directly aligning it with the original sample specifications.
Alex agreed, and we moved forward with this plan. For the new production sample, we even offered flexibility by creating versions in two different color temperatures: 2700K (warm white) and 3000K (soft white), catering to potential preferences.
Adapting to New Requirements
After receiving the two new samples, Alex provided a valuable refinement for the bulk order. They requested a modification to the JST female connector: the plastic shell should be removed, leaving only the metal pin exposed. This was a straightforward adjustment that we readily incorporated into the production plan for the remaining units.
Successful Completion and Positive Feedback
Following the implementation of this small change, we successfully completed the entire bulk order of 100 custom XXA-2509-7W aluminum plates. We are delighted to report that Alex was extremely pleased with the final product and the overall service. Receiving positive feedback like this is always the best reward and confirms our commitment to quality and customer collaboration.
